Forge Tech Accounting is an all-in-one accounting software for Canadian and US SMBs. It combines 62 integrated modules: general accounting, invoicing, Quebec payroll, inventory, projects, CRM, BI, real estate, construction CCQ, and more. Local Quebec hosting, bilingual FR/EN.
Which operating systems does Forge Tech run on?
Forge Tech runs on Windows 10/11 (desktop version), Android 6+ (companion app), and any browser via the PWA (iOS, macOS, Linux). Native iOS and macOS versions coming in 2027.
Is Forge Tech really hosted in Quebec?
Yes. Our primary servers are at Vidéotron (Quebec), with replication in Ontario. No data leaves Canada. Compliant with Law 25 by design.
How many modules are included?

Does Forge Tech replace QuickBooks, Sage or Acomba?
Yes for QuickBooks and Sage 50. For Acomba, Forge Tech provides a modern alternative with Quebec hosting, though Acomba's CCQ-specific features remain a solid reference for certain niche functions.
Pricing and billing
How much does Forge Tech cost per month?
Three plans: Starter at $49/month (21 modules), Pro at $99/month (38 modules), Enterprise at $199/month (62 modules). All include hosting, updates and bilingual support. Per-business pricing, not per-user.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, 30-day free trial with no credit card required. Request it on the Free Trial page.
How does billing work?
Monthly or annual (5% discount annually). Payment by credit card, Interac transfer or business invoice. One-click cancellation, no hidden fees.
Any hidden or setup fees?
None. The displayed price is all-inclusive. No setup fee, no update fee, no per-user overage. Migration from your old software is free.
What if I cancel?
One-click cancellation in your account. You keep access to your data for 60 days to export. No penalty, no fees.
Security and compliance
Is Forge Tech compliant with Quebec Law 25?
Yes, built for Law 25 from day one. TLS 1.3 encryption + AES-256 at rest, full access logging, ability to erase all client data on request (right to erasure), automatic breach notifications.
Is my data subject to the US CLOUD Act?
No. Our servers are in Quebec, operated by a Canadian company (Forge Tech). No US authority can demand access to your data.
Is there two-factor authentication?
Yes, 2FA via TOTP app (Authy, Google Authenticator) or SMS. Enabled by default for administrators.
What happens during an outage?
Our servers have 99.9% contractual uptime (Enterprise SLA). Hourly incremental backups, daily full backups replicated off-site.
Quebec accounting and taxes
Does Forge Tech handle GST, QST and HST?
Yes, automatically for all Canadian provinces. Pre-configured tax codes (GST 5%, QST 9.975%, HST 13-15% by province). Quarterly or annual GST/QST reports generated in one click.
Is the Quebec payroll Revenu Québec compliant?
Yes: QPP (6.40% + CPP2), EI (1.32%), QPIP (0.494%), HSF, CNESST. Auto-generation of T4, RL-1, T5018 with direct XML transmission to CRA and Revenu Québec.
Does Forge Tech support the CCQ construction sector?
Yes, CCQ module included in Enterprise: contributions by trade and sub-sector (residential, ICI, civil engineering, industrial), training fund, retirement fund, vacation pay. Monthly remittance form generated.
What about nonprofits?
Yes, dedicated NPO module in Enterprise: R12 (Quebec report), T1044, grant tracking, fund accounting.
Migration and onboarding
How do I migrate from QuickBooks or Sage?
Our team migrates you for free. Export of accounts, opening balances, historical transactions, customers, suppliers. 1 to 5 days depending on volume. Migration assistance plan available on request.
How long to start a new business on Forge Tech?
15 minutes to configure the chart of accounts and 1-2 hours to enter first information (employees, customers, suppliers). You can import your chart of accounts from Excel/CSV.
